Large investment in school re-design!

We received a $150,000 planning grant from the Barr Foundation to re-design our Stamford Academy Charter High School model. In re-imagining our school, we'll look closely at mastery-based learning, flexible school hours, workforce development needs and integration, and multiple pathways to graduation and a meaningful high school diploma. Domus is one of nine organizations in New England chosen to be in this new cohort, now part of the Barr Foundation's $30 million investment over five years to connect all students to success in high school and beyond. Fall golf on Long Island Sound

We love golf, but who wants to play in 90-degree heat? Give us fall golf any day: a light autumn breeze, sun, and gorgeous foliage. Join us Monday, September 18th at the Country Club of Fairfield (on the water!)--the less painful way to conduct business. More info and registration HERE.

Summer camp fun: It's on!

We're again able to offer five weeks of full-day, free summer camp to over 200 Stamford children at our East Side location, thanks to generous support from the Steve & Alexandra Cohen Foundation. Between our two Stamford camps, over 400 children are engaging in academic enrichment, physical challenges, and old-fashioned FUN. Watch our Facebook page for more camp pix and good times!
